  • David Bailey was a founding partner of Bailey, Schaefer & Errato in 1992.  Prior to that, David was a partner in the CPA firm of Bailey Moore Glazer Schaefer & Proto, a firm originally founded by his grandfather in 1916.  David has deep experience in working with family owned and closely held businesses.  He is a Director for the University of New Haven Center for Family Business, Treasurer for the Branford Education Foundation, and serves on the Quinnipiac University Business Advisory Board. He is a member of the Legal & Tax Division of the New Haven Jewish Federation and the United States Equestrian Federation.  David has been active in various other charitable and business organizations.  He holds a BS in Accounting from Quinnipiac College.  His work style and philosophy is to serve as a complete business partner to his clients.

 Michael E. Bailey, CPA, MST

Michael Bailey became a partner in Bailey, Schaefer & Errato in 2004, after serving as a senior accountant in the firm.  Michael entered the family firm immediately after graduating from Tulane University with a BS in Accounting.  He achieved a MS in Taxation from the University of New Haven while working.  He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the CT Society of CPAs.  Michael is currently on the Board of Directors for the Branford Chamber of Commerce, President of the Sound Networking Group, past Commissioner of the New Haven Planning Commission, and past Treasurer of Branford Chamber of Commerce.

  • Andrew J. Errato, CPA, ABV, CFF, CVA, MST

  • Andrew J. Errato was a founding partner of Bailey, Schaefer & Errato in 1992.  Prior to that, Andy was a partner in the CPA firm of Bailey Moore Glazer Schaefer & Proto.  Throughout his CPA career, Andy had an integral role in firm management and staff development, in addition to client responsibility.  He started his career with Arthur Young & Company, rising to Senior / Manager on the audit staff. Andy is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the American Institute of CPAs, and the CT Society of CPAs. He is presently or has been a board member of the University of New Haven Center for Family Business, the CT Chapter of the NACVA, First Tee of Connecticut, Madison Country Club (President), Madison Jaycees (President), and the Branford Chamber of Commerce (President).  He is also an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at the University of New Haven.  Andy holds a BS in Accounting from Quinnipiac University and a MS in Taxation from the University of New Haven, as well as the credentials of Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), and Certified Valuation Analysts(CVA).

Camille R. Murphy, CPA

  • Camille Murphy was a founding partner of Murphy Sloman & Company in 1992.  Prior to that, Camille started and practiced in her own CPA firm, Murphy & Company, for ten years.  Before her entrepreneurial years, Camille was Treasurer for Accounting Systems Corporation and Staff Accountant for Deloitte Haskins & Sells.  Camille is present or past director of Webster Bank, Shoreline Bank & Trust, Defran Systems, Inc., the Strong Center, the University of New Haven Center for Family Business, and the CT Society of CPA’s.  She has been, and continues to be, a passionate contributor to numerous charitable and civic organizations as well as schools.  Camille is a well recognized advocate for financial literacy and education and serves on the State of CT Treasurer’s Office Financial Literacy Collation and is chairperson of the CSCPA Financial Literacy Task Force. She is also an Adjunct Accounting Professor at Post University.  In addition, she has authored the book, Financial Literacy for Your Kids and has created a suite of products to simplify home recordkeeping.  Camille holds a BS in Accounting from Quinnipiac University.

Dominic Scarano, Jr., CPA

  • Dominic Scarano became a partner in Bailey, Schaefer & Errato in 1998, after serving as a senior accountant in the firm.  Prior to that, Dominic was a senior accountant at Bailey Moore Glazer Schaefer & Proto.  He is a member of the Boards of the Better Business Bureau (Treasurer) and the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce.  Dominic also serves St. Therese Parish and Finance Council and the Youth Soccer organization in North Haven. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the CT Society of CPAs.  Dominic holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

William R. Sloman II, CPA

William Sloman founded Sloman & Diamantini in 1986, which he merged with Camille Murphy’s CPA firm to form Murphy Sloman & Company in 1992.  Prior to that, Bill was Tax Manager with Simione & Simione CPAs, in the Estate Tax Department of Cummings & Lockwood, and in the Tax Department of Ernst & Young.  He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Bill is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the CT Society of CPAs (past member of Board of Governors, Federal Tax Committee and Estate Tax Committee).  He graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University.
